Happy Halloween!

We had a wonderful class Halloween Party today.  The kids looked absolutely fabulous in their costumes.  We had a parade, created and ate cookies, made papel picados, and enjoyed each others company during our class party.

Sharing home study research

Two of our classmates shared the interesting research they did while their classmates were at OPI. They did a great job observing their specimens! OPI pictures are on the way. We are going to work on captions and presentation for next weeks gathering.

Creature Observation

We took some time today to explore how a naturalist observes newly discovered specimens.
We also talked about some of the difficulties they face when identifying new species.
